#InkTober #11 - Symbols

Hi,

100th post - woohoo at last I have hit a posting milestone! :)

Another weird one - symbols and suggestion with shading and shapes. What does it all mean, to tell the truth, it's a mystery to me too.

More to come.
Enjoy!

#InkTober #15 - Queens Tears

Hi,

From the Lightbox programme Outlander and a mishmash of odd things in my head gives us a crying Queen. I like the striking contrast and the basic shapes used to make the image.

Enjoy!

#InkTober #14 - Halloween

Hi,

Been a little slow in getting these completed and uploaded so it won't quite be one a day, still I'm lovin' what is coming out of the ink on these pictures. Got a little backlog and I want to ink before I start any new ones so we'll skip a couple and head on up to #Inktober n#14.

Here's a Halloween-themed one - I often do a Halloween picture but never get it coloured in time so here's one early for a change :)

Enjoy!

#InkTober #9 - Rocker

Hi there!

The main focus of this piece was to be her arm and her scowl but it turned into a full body picture and then morphed again when I brought it into Photoshop and played around with her head size (bad proportions in the original and then refocused to create a nifty postcard.

Here in order, Original, resized head and Postcard for your viewing pleasure!

This one felt really good to finish and I can do prints of the post card if you're interested :)

Enjoy!

#Inktober #8 - Time Flies

Hi,

This one stemmed from a frazzling day at the office, one of those 'the end of the day is here, now what exactly did I manage to do?' kinda days.

To cap it off the bus driver was rather horn happy and the traffic was snails pace.
Don't forget all of these pieces are on offer just drop me a line!

Enjoy!

#InkTober #7 - Jump!

Hi,

This one came out of the swirly lines for the scarf/parachute that the guy is holding and evolved wirdly from there with a cartoon bird, cartoon plane and a flying stingray with a top hat (of course)... maybe I've done a bit much running this week and my brain has left the building.

Anyhoo it's InkTober #7!

Enjoy!

#Inktober #6 - Noddy Racer

Hi,

Deciding to go with another racer somehow it turned into a hotrod version of Noddy's car so of course I had to get Noddy into the drivers seat :)

The thought of Noddy going for a blat in his hotrod late a night seemed like a cool idea so I went with it and stuck the moon in there too.

 Enjoy!

#InkTober #4 - Batman

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in posting, the weekend was made for a lot of busy fun and I completed the drawings just didn't get the time to post so here we go - I present 'Bat-doll'!

There's a few little extra villain type clues in the picture see if you can't spot and identify them all :)

Enjoy!

#InkTober #3 - Gone Batty

Hi,

Not the original idea I was going to post but I've been a little distracted with this wee fella today. Part of a bigger picture I can't reveal yet but I'll be posting another #3 later.

Enjoy!

#InkTober #2 - Skull Time

Hi,

Bit of quicker one tonight and done with pencils and mainly Sharpie.

Sharpie's aren't very forgiving when it comes to mistakes but I'm happy with the end result. Reminds me of Grant (possibly it's the sunglasses and I can see 'The OffSpring' in there too :D).

Feels good to have a challenge and do something a little different.

Enjoy!

#InkTober #1 - Surfer Girl

Hi there!

I discovered this little October inking project of Jake Parker through my very talented  friend Michel Mulipola and have taken on the challenge - time permitting I'm going to attack one a day and go for the full marathon of 31 sketches.

First up is Surfer Girl - I liked the idea of using her hair as the wave and the starfish popped in at the end.

Seeing as I'll end up with a whole bunch of these drawings if you're interested in anyone of them drop me a note and we'll sort something out. Or if you have a topic suggestion shout-out and I'll incorporate it into an upcoming sketch.

1 down, 30 to go - hang in there! :)

Enjoy!
