Wild, Wild West

 Hiya!

In June this year one of my colleagues headed off to Europe to spend time with family and so i had to do a leaving card that highlighted some of the things we shared/dealt with at work.

I had a lot of fun with this and he really enjoyed it too!

Enjoy!

Triple Treat

 Hola,

It's been a while and haven't things been busy! It's all good though because it means more art to share.

Check out this triple treat, three fun and bright caricatures delivering personality, happiness and personalisation for each of the recipients.

It was a total pleasure creating these and adding the signature things to distinguish each of the personalities represented in them.

Cheers,

Rob!

Hi!

Another caricature that was a lot of fun to do with so many inclusions and a fancy dress adding to the challenge!

Enjoy!

Recent Work

Hi,

I've been beavering away at a few little projects last year and looking to do some new interesting stuff this year.

Here's a little gem from last year that i'm quite proud of, a caricature commission based on Agnes from Despicable Me.

Enjoy!

World Famous in Takapuna

Hi,

This week I had the pleasure of revisiting my old office the other week and found that the caricatures I had created for them displayed on the wall!

A very good feeling indeed!

Caricature redo

One of the associate Principals - now a Principal I believe - (Amanda) asked me to redo her caricature with her current blonde hair colour. I redid it and am pretty happy with the results.

Cheers,
Rob

Caricatures Abound!

Well here they are at long last, the second set of caricatures mainly of the Associate Principals, but also including the NZCE and NZ HR manager. Pencil, then inked, scanned and coloured in Photoshop. I'm really happy with how they turned out and how well they have been received as well.

So without futher ado here they are!

Amanda - Loves Travel, Champagne and Hippos,

Andree - Netbal Champ, trademe fiend, mother and cat-lover

Donna - loves Wine, gardening, shopping and her cats

Greg - Tri-athelete, ocean swimmer, sports fanatic and MGB devotee

Janet - Cats, Caravaggio, red wine and coffee

Margo - loves Art, James Dean's Porsche, Boston Legal, SHOES and her 'rockstar' saying

Phil - Sports mad, keen cricketer, southland wine and music

Renee - Loves her dalmation, shopping, the gym and wine

Tony - mountaineering, Grove Mill Chardonnay, Tennis, and Golf

I'm open to commissions so give me a holla if you like what yo see. :)
Enjoy!

Caricature Me

Where have i been? Taking my sweet time with updates and creating quite a bit of art i'll have you know, in between other more important stuff of course ;)

So I was commissioned to create some cariactures for work of the Principals and now they're all done i can start to share them with you. It was a heck of a project but i've very, very proud of the results.

To start with we have Tax Principal Andrew who used to be an airline pilot and has the TDK hi-fi poster on his wall so i wanted to do a riff on that and am pretty pleased with the result.

And they are all being printed on A2 canvas to boot! First time i've ever been printed to canvas woohoo!

Anyhow hope you enjoy them over the coming weeks :)

Cheers,

Rob
